I’m a former economist, photographer, and a mother of two.
Having gone through all the delights of maternity-leave life, combining work and taking care of children and household, on one typical gloomy St. Petersburg’s day, I bought my daughter a Barbie. That insignificant event gave life to my doll hobby.
Now, three years later, a doll has become an integral part of my life.
Knowledge of the basics of photography has helped me to convey the beauty of a doll. An opportunity to portray dolls realistically was what captured me first. My love for camera journalism prompted me to the idea of creating short life sketches, the whole photo stories! This is how Pete and Nellie came into the picture. Then, their friends followed suit with their own doll stories.

Shootings required stage sets. So my hobby expanded in another direction — the construction of 1:6 scale dioramas.
The circle of my acquaintances and interests is expanding, and now, in my hands, I’m holding a selection of literature about screenwriting. I have also organized a separate workshop place for dolls. An app developer is working on an application that is an unfinished book of my doll stories.
It seems that my little people have captivated me forever!
